The fruit and vegetable stalls in the market are a popular attraction for its fresh local products brought into town daily by the local farmers.

Poinsettia Villa#1, is a one bedroom apartment-villa with large living, dining and kitchen area. It has large windows overlooking the roof top terrace on the ocean. The bedroom is cozy and warm with bright colours, an en-suite bathroom and large cupboards. It is up a short set of stairs that take you to the highest point at Poinsettia Villas Villa resort. From here you can see the sea, the pool and the open terrace surrounded by trees.

Down the hill and past the airport is Vigie Beach with a wide and long sandy beach and good swimming. The beach has a lively community of licensed food and drink vendors who operate several wooden chattel house style beach huts, where you can buy chicken rotis, home cooked food, fresh fruit juices, Pitons Beer, rum and other drinks.
